Haddie sighed in relief as the temperature rose. And that the smell, and gravity and tornado thing had also been fixed. But mostly that the cold was, because the cold was unbearable, to the point it made the rest less noticeable. But now that the Teach had explained it was part of the lesson, she had to admit it was pretty clever.
Shrugging off the first of her blankets -but not the second just yet- Haddie piped up. "But what about the lack of a strong magnetic field to protect the planet and keep an atmosphere? Isn't Mars' core, like, solid and no longer producing a field strong enough to protect it from the sun's radiation, and that's why its atmosphere burned away so long ago?" How did terraforming fix that?
How did she know that? Oh right, the 17 hours of space documentaries her parents made her watch as punishment for the Griffith Park field trip thing. She glanced at Rachel and shrugged.
