He jotted down notes of everything his classmates said as well as everything else the professor was saying, all brown nosing comments left out of course. And when the next question came, Oliver came close to making a comment about the professor and the spell, just to get back at him...but then he decided against it. The first class was not the time to get points taken away, especially not since they were already down some points. Instead, he kept his mouth shut and wrote down what all the other students had to say.
