As Professor Flamsteed spoke, Esme continued to take notes. She could understand what he was saying, and that was good because he sometimes got rather long-winded in his lectures. She liked the man, but it was true.

The blanket helped most of her, but her poor hand was left exposed as was her head. Not very nice at all. At the next question, she raised her freezing hand to reply. "I think the Insulating Charm would really help." You know...to go with the heating charms and fires that her classmates were suggesting. That way the warmth would actually STAY inside and no more cold would get in. Win win in her book.
