First ever Astronomy lesson! Carl was excited because this subject was something he had studied in the Muggle World. He could probably at least understand some of the terminologies used! Stopping outside the classroom, he used the lint roller and read the sign next to it. He did
not use it as a brush, by the way. As he stepped into the room, he immediately felt a gush of cold air and shivered. It was never this cold at his hometown … maybe it was a Hogwarts thing? But it could not possibly smell this bad all the time here. He decided to ask Professor Flamsteed about it later on. "Live long and prosper," he said and grinned while doing the Vulcan gesture. Was the Professor a fan of Star Trek? It was super cool. "I am Carl Leonard," he introduced himself.
He walked around the room in search of a seat and was surprised to find himself bouncing. It was like being on the moon! Well, he had never actually been to the moon, but he read that you could jump really high on the moon. Carl took a seat (after accidentally jumping onto his table) and noticed the blanket. How considerate of the Professor! He wrapped it around him and felt much warmer. Now, he had to write his name onto this piece of parchment. With a tap, he smiled as the parchment turned into a wooden name plaque.
