"That was really good," he said as she locked the cabinet. "Really." But what was next... oh, right. Thornton looked at the box in his hand and then over at the box in hers. Now all that was left was to open the box and get the code.
"Alohomora again," he said, in response to her question. "Just this time, on the little box." He glanced at her again, pondering. "If you're worried about your aim, I'd put the box on the floor..."
For his own part, Thornton held his box in his left, hand, brandishing his wand with the right.
"Alohomora!"
Click.
Ariadne grinned widely.
"You think so?" she asked. AWESOME. She'd pretty much nailed her first charm ever, and it was all thanks to her own, personal Ravenclaw! If this boy could just show up in ALL of her classes, that'd be perfect. Ohh, the next step was another Alohomora? SHe'd already gotten the hang of that one, so they were pretty much done with this room and ready for the next one!
"Hmm, yeah. I better put this on the floor," she said, looking at her little box. She had nailed her first try at the charm, but it wasn't like she was perfect or anything. She put the box down by her feet and stepped back a little. Ariadne whipped her wand around in that same backwards S motion.
"ALOHOMORA!" she called out.
Another clicking sound was heard, and Ariadne's box was open, too!
