starting post :3 Ability is nothing without Opportunity | | Creativity is Intelligence having FUN Charms class! And do you know what that means??
It means Tenacius will finally get the chance to put his 12 and a half inch, Alder wood, Dragon heartstring core through its paces yaaaaaas!
The curly top breezed through the Charms doorway only to stop short on the blackboard. Holy pop quizzes Batman! He shifted to look around, uncertain if he should really go for it. Making the jump isnt his issue, its when he goes splat that’s kinda the problem.
He took out his wand and gripped it. The initial excitement has started to return. Oh what the heck, whats the worst that could happen eh? Fire? Well theres a whole lake outside so no worries right?
He approached the cabinet and pointed at it. "Alo--" wait, what was the wand stroke? Recall, recall, recall… nada. He has to look at the book. Can he look at the book during a test? No? WELL WHO'S GONNA STOP HIM???
Popping that book open, jump to the index, flip flip flip flip-- aha! Alohamora. His head shifted back and forth between his book and the tip of his wand. Ok he has this. "Alohamora." there goes the squiggle of his wand.
Seizing the cabinet door and-- nothing. Still locked.
He tried it a few more times. Same thing. "Maybe I'm saying it wrong…." he wondered as he peered at his book again. He mumbled a few versions of it while doing the wand stroke. Eurgh why cant this thing just come at him and spew out the box eh? *BUMP* "AHHHH!!" he yelped as he took a few steps back. What what what??? Its floating.
What did he do??? What should he do??? "Get back on the floor!" he growled as he reached out, trying to push it back down. It would touch the floor but then would float right back up again, like a low hanging balloon. Panic started to give way to embarrassment. He has to get this thing to stop floating. But how would he get it to stop if he didn’t know how it started in the first place? At the very least, he had to weigh it down.
So there goes the curly haired boy, flinging himself onto the cabinet, riding it like a bull. |
