Colloportus...he needed to get this done quickly...."Collo---Colloportus!" The second year didn't stop to go check if the cabinet was indeed closed, but instead turned to do the second part of the assignment. "Just hold the box....." He grinned.."And hope I don't miss. I'm not sure what would happen if you get hit with an alohomora spell." Okay so he was joking...it would be pretty wild of him to miss but still...he was curious... "Alohomora!" He said clearly while pointing the wand at the box. "It's all you from here mate." Har har, his cousin was an absolute comedian. Truly he told the best jokes, like suddenly hitting him with the spell when he was holding the box SO FAR AWAY FROM HIM. It was safe to say that if he lived through it, Bentley would not but Blaise wasn't worried at all because his cousin knew what he was doing. Of the two of them, he was the only one that knew...though not completely true. The little boy knew both spells as well as one would expect but trying them was another story entirely.
He waited for the familiar click, already over the cabinet that was assumed to be locked by now. When it came, the boy pried open the box so they could retrieve the numbers.
Took a bit of work too considering even when unlocked it seemed to be a bit jammed but no worries, with a little extra effort on his part (because clearly Bentley wasn't the ONLY hard worker), Blaise managed to yank the box open.
It didn't escape him that Daxton had gotten someone else to do the same for him. They were almost one and the same--though for very different reasons. Anywho, numbers.
