This meeting... was boring. He was bored. And suddenly Timmy's hair seemed even more amusing. Amusing in many ways. Firstly, there were the various shades of blonde, all pretty... of course, and then it smelt fresh. Like, she smelt like a girl. And then... it was comfortable. As awake as he had been earlier, he could do with a nap now. The whole Gryffindoring thing and house elf thing was really none of his concern. Zeke Browne just did what Zeke Browne did. He wasn't about to change that.
Head flopping against the back of the couch, his face partly turned into Timmy's hair to hide the fact that he was resting his eyes, Zeke half-listened to what was being said.
It came as no surprise that Amur was one of the people asked to take on this 'project' -- which he still thought was unnecessary --and while her idea wasn't bad, it was radical. FREE the elves, might result in them not having food at the desired hours of the day = all hours of the day. Besides, who actually owned the house elves?... It wasn't something THEY could do.
Kaycee being Amur's co-planner on the matter was amusing, but who knew, the two might make the perfect HEPT HE HOUSE ELVES team.
It didn't matter to him.
When Candice was asked to take over, Zeke blinked his eyes open a bit, pulling away slightly in the hopes that he might become less bored. Please. Candice. Please.
...
And then that happened.
What was he good at that would benefit the school or Gryffindor? Uh, everything? Or nothing? He didn't really know. There were many things he could do, that he was successful at, but how to apply them to.... THIS... was not obvious, and so he sat silenced. He supposed his answer could be the same as Candice's, but he didn't much feel like sharing the sentiment right now.
Just sitting here, contemplating life and how great we were at everything and nothing.
