His mind was already locked on the topic before Hady had raised it. The field trip he had with Daphne over the summer had very much solidified his plans. It was his goal, to become a curse-breaker. So when Hady asked him about it, he couldn't help but nod, a spark lighting up his eyes.

"It was amazing," he started, tilting his face slightly away from her and pointing to his badges of honour - the scar across his neck, the two down his cheek and the flecks on his chin. "Was attacked by cursed fire demons," he informed matter-of-factly. Of course, there was more to the story that he would share, but he liked to savour reactions first.

Of course, for his line of work, he would likely travel the globe, all those adventures... ahhhhhh... Hady was wrong about one thing though. "I don't think Maggie would like slumming it, and I wouldn't want her in any danger. There are far nicer places in the world to whisk her off to." And, saying that out loud, he realised that it was something he wanted. It was a plan, for their future. He'd have to find her and tell her all about it. Genius idea really.

Also, Hady could laugh about it all she wanted, but her sanity was in the firing line. "You should definitely drop a few. My mum was saying that she took O.W.Ls AND N.E.W.Ts in every subject and she had no life. Then again... she was a Ravenclaw with all the ambition of a Slytherin set to hyperdrive." It was no wonder she was the youngest Head Auror (and Department Head) in history. "I've dropped Astronomy, Divination and History of Magic... would have dropped Muggle Studies too but I'll need that if I change my mind and decide to become an Obliviator." Granted, they also asked for HoM N.E.W.Ts.... but that was NOT going to happen. He'd negotiate his way out of that one.
