Blaise was going to sit and focus on his food. He knew what this meeting was for in a nutshell and knew he wasn't going to like anything the Professor said. Even while others gathered, he picked at his eggs, moving them around and around in his plate. The boy supposed that if he didn't eat it, it'd be bullying the poor elves that worked so hard to make it so finally he got some into his mouth and did the chewing thing.

It was the movement that drew him to the curly haired kid (Tenacious) that was grinning and giving him a thumbs up? Oh, was that for the food fight too? See? Not EVERYONE hated it. Feeling somewhat better, the 12 year old managed his own dimpled smile and a salute.

It had been fun, no matter what the sticks in the mud had to say.

Unfortunately, the smile was short lived as he saw the Head Boy making his way over to him. Blaise lowered his gaze to his plate again and began the ritual of shoving the eggs around on his plate once more. If he was coming to tell him off, he would have to wait because the Professor already had first dibs on that thank you very much and he could only be reprimanded so many times. The boy didn't look up, not even at the calling of his name. The mention of another meeting (because that's essentially what it would be) however, had him glancing up. Blaise might have responded but in the next second, the Professor was speaking and he hardly even had time to greet Amur who'd taken the spot on his other side. Not wanting to be disruptive, he gave a simple nod of his head and a brief, "Where?" before his attention turned fully to his Head of House.

Suffice to say that after the first minute he'd stopped listening. It was all just a continuation of the scolding from last night and if he didn't want to hear it then, he wouldn't want to hear it now. Perhaps he would read the embellished version later when he found himself with nothing better to do.

The young Gryffindor sat with his hand on his jaw, silent through the discussion. What could he do for House Elves? It was like that one girl (Kaycee) said; they didn't typically want things done for them. Didn't know what he could do for Hogwarts either. Everything around here was bullying apparently so he would do nothing--unless THAT was bullying too.
