Heheheheh. This was going to be GREAT. She could feel it in her bones. Her old purple trainers already HAD paint on them from some prior adventures, but at least now they matched her smock that'd hopefully be nice and covered with paint too, by the time they were all finished. The prefect stood beside the food table and snuck a finger full of frosting from one of the cupcakes just as another firstie came in. Heh. Nobody saw that, right?
With a toooootally innocent smile, Norah wiggled her fingers at the two baby Puffs as they approached the food table TOO. Clearly it was the place to be. Henric had done a smashing job. Not that she'd expected anything less, 'cause he was a good egg. Obviously. SHE certainly would've messed something up if this had been her first official job as Prefect, but she was learning that she wasn't exactly the highest standard to compare people to. Well, she'd known that all along, but it was becoming increasingly apparent as time went on. Henric probably wasn't as good of a frosting ninja as she was, though, so at least she had that going for her. Maybe she could tell Professor Myers all about that one, if they ever had to chat The Future, or something equally horrifying. Frosting was comforting like that. "You're Brady, yeah?" As if she could've forgotten. He got a fresh start though, 'cause if she judged everybody by their behavior at the feast she'd have to keep up with a whole lot of disapproval and that just sounded exhausting. Disapproval was GROSS. Chances were a whole lot lovelier. It was simple, really. Turning to the other ickle (Kat) with a grin, she said, "I don't think I've met you, yet." She stuck a hand out (the one WITHOUT a slightly sticky finger) for a good shake. Good, good. This was good. When would they get to PAINT?
Chocolate covered, chocolate chip muffin? Yes. The was now a thing. Thanks to this glorious chocolate fountain. She stuck the muffin on a stick under the fountain. Holy hippogrffs this was going to be amazing. Did anyone else have this idea? Or was it just her.
A girl walked up to her and Brady. She gaped at the girl and her shiny badge. She musta been the other perfect. She almost felt like she was meeting hufflepuff royality. Since gaping at the older girl she shook her hand. Stuffing the chocolatey muffin into her mouth.
"Kat Delgado, miss hufflepuff prefect!" Someone needed to tell mister prefect to lay off her best friend, okay? Because she seen
Henric eyeing her best friend. That was just rude to do that.
But now Katerina was doing the eyeing. Baby sitting? She was not a baby, she glared toward the older blonde boy
Noel, not a mean glare but a ARE YOU KIDDING ME? glare.
SPOILER!!: Fat Friar

"Hello, everyone! Wow..this all looks so nice!" He eyed the food table. Hufflepuffs sure did know how to bring on the food! He floated off to the side, near the food, wishing he could inhale some of it (most especially some of that chocolate from the chocolate fountain) but alas, he could not.
The Friar didn't mind, though. He was cheerful just to see all his badgers so happy and bonding!
"Will someone paint a pot for me?" he asked with a chortle. Maybe he couldn't carry it around or anything, he would find just the right spot for it!
O_O
A ghost, yes she had read that each house had their own ghost and there were ghosts around the castle. She had seen him at the feast to but shortly. Between the excitement of being sorted into the same house with Brady, the food fight, and the indoor thunderstorm during the feast.
Katerina had to agree with the ghost here, the food looked wonderful.
"Hey!" The first year smiled in reply to the ghost. She had so many questions for the ghost now. Like could he eat? And how old was he? But her mother taught her that some questions were just rude to ask. Those were probably those rude questions.
"I'll paint a pot for you!" SPOILER!!: Professor Myers

"I'm so happy you've joined us!" he told the ghost cheerfully before moseying over to the food himself. He would start with finger sandwiches.
"SO everyone...I decided we would have a relaxing event--so here we are!" He paused because Henric had turned up the music, and he laughed. "Eat, paint, and be merry! Paint as many pots as you want! I have...almost an unlimited amount! Paint with your fingers, nose, or paintbrushes! All are provided, assuming you guys have fingers, of course!" He chuckled because he found himself oh so funny. Finishing up one finger sandwich, Paul started another, eyeing the bowls of paint. He waved his wand, and the caps of the bowls came off.
"As you can see, we have all colors you could IMAGINE!" PAINT! Paul loved painting.
There he was the man of the hour, professor Myers. He was the man. This party the food, the pot painting. It all was just..... it really was just making Hogwarts a thousand percent better that it has already been. To be honest, Katerina was feeling a bit overwhelmed with all of her excitement.
"Thank you so much professor Myers for this party!" She bounced over to the professor and give him a hug. The child was a total Hufflepuff, obsessive hugging and all. Kat blinked at all of the colors. So many colors. She loved being a Hufflepuff.

She gave a slightly nervous smile to Professor Myers, before saying "Hello Professor Myers. Thank you for throwing this party." It should help Kay get to know her fellow Hufflepuffs ((and Professor)) better.
Ky went up to the food table, to grab a couple of bites to eat. The curly haired american girl smiled and gave a small wave and some "Hello"s to her fellow housemates, and the Fat Friar.
Kat continued to bounce around the food table. She should probably start laying off of the chocolate if she wanted to get some sleep tonight and be rested up for her first lessons in the morning.
The first year continued stuffing her face, she was now chowing down on some of the finger sandwiches. Mustard all over her face. Kat looked up when she heard a hello.
"Hi, can you hand me that ham sammwich, please?" She gave the girl a smile. She looked it be about her age, another new friend? Kat did hope so. Maybe they were roommates?
SPOILER!!: Bradson

"Are you feeling okay?" This wasn't his Kat! The eleven year old looked around the room for his Kat but there was no such luck. "What have you done with my Kat?! Has Hogwarts changed you already?" They would always tackle each other, that was their thing but now there was no tackling.
Now he was being dragged over to the food. This was sort of like his Kat but he wasn't convinced yet. Maybe if he tackled her HIS Kat would come back. "Okay, okay." He said to her.
Not that long after him and Kat had made it over to the food or in his case dragged over tot he food an older girl (Norah) had come over and started talking to him. "Yeah, I'm Brady." Oh, the Scottish boy knew who this girl was now. She was the girl Prefect, he wasn't sure what he thought about her at the feast and he got the impression now that she really didn't want to talk to him. Brady shrugged. "Do you really want to talk to me or do you have to talk to me?" Brady wasn't very good at reading people but he did feel like her words were a little forced. "I'm sorry but the tone in your voice seems a little forced to me." He wasn't impressed by the Henric guy and now this girl as their prefect even though he didn't know the full extent of the prefect job was.
Bradson felt eyes on him. He looked up from the food and followed the eyes. Oh, this guy again. The first year rolled his eyes at Henric. Brady turned towards the older kid. "Really? I told you to stay away from me and now you're going into full stalker mode?" What was this? This older kid wasn't the police or the aurors. Honestly, Brady shouldn't have said anything but he couldn't help it. He felt as if someone was watching him. Now Brady had his proof that this Henric guy was an actual creeper.
Bradson please.......
He was being embarrassingly ridiculous at the moment. The blinking she was blinking right back at him, too. Swatting his hand away from her forehead.
"Bradson, what are you doing? It's the real me! What has Hogwarts done to you?" To a scale of one to ten of a confused Kat she was a ten. What was her best friend going on about? IT WAS HER!!
"Look it's a chocolate fountain!" She pointed at it. Oh my Merlin. That looked delicious. She wanted to stick her tongue under it but that would be pretty gross. Gems! Ugh. Instead she grabbed a piece of sliced banana and stuck it under the chocolate. Mmmmmmm chooocolateeeeee.
