He wasn't a morning person. At all.
Apart from the mandatory meeting, the only thing that really had him wide awake was the smell coming from the common room. His stomach had protested and grumbled all night long from the lack of warm tummy food goodness the night before. Pausing at the bottom of the staircase, blond hair sticking up in random places, he eyed the large words upon the sign, probably lingering far longer than necessary.
That was... cheerful.
No matter, food was here. AND SO WAS THE PROFESSOR. "Good morning, Professor Flamsteed," he said, raising his hand into the vulcan salute, but it was messy and his words were hurried. He was dyyyying of hunger and quickly made his way to the food table.
