Lux didn't understand why Professor Thompson insisted on continuing Care of Magical Creatures lessons now that it was freezing outside. At least they were having a joint lesson at the lake; Professor Fuller was pretty cool in her book.

Joining her classmates, she gave a squeal as she saw the winged horses.

They were beautiful.

They were majestic.

Lux wanted to ride them right now, so long as her feet didn't leave the ground because otherwise she'd have a panic attack and need her boyfriend. Speaking of Bay, she wondered where he was. She wanted him.
