It was time to sleep and Lux had just finished brushing her teeth. Heading to her bed, she pulled the sheets back and was about to climb in when she heard a

HOOT!

Instinctively she looked over at Luna's cage. She was still inside...as to be expected.

HOOT!

Tap. Tap. Tap.

She headed over to her window and opened it. There was a letter and the carrier had become rather impatient. "Sorry!" In thanks for his service, she gave him a treat which he took happily before flying off.

Now to see to this letter...
