Mishenka Camilia Stevens was born on 6 June 2077 in Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, Russia. She spent the first two years of her life there before her paternal grandparents passed away due to a methane gas-leak in the hotel they were staying at while they were vacationing in Romania. As a result her father, the eldest child, inherited their lavish country Manor (Ciceroc), prompting the small family to leave the beautiful city and move to Bath, England.

Mason grew up alone, being an only-child and without any cousins her age, she was used to getting everything she wanted. She was cared for mostly by the Manor's maid and their two House Elves. Growing up, Mason always had a better relationship with her father than her mother. If he wasn't too busy, Sebastian would always try and spend time with his daughter, teaching her everything he knew about Quidditch and even training her in Duelling and Self-Defence. Her mother had always been a cold a distant person, but they loved each other nonetheless and Anya took it upon herself teach Mason to play both the piano and the cello. At the age of 6, her magic first started appearing and after that she was tutored from home, learning the basics of magic and their world. She received her letter to Hogwarts at age 11 and attended her first term in 2088 and was sorted into Slytherin House.

In February 2090, 5 months before she turned 13, her little brother was supposed to be born. But unfortunately, Lev was stillborn. Her mother became isolated and depressed afterwards, refusing to leave the Manor and spending her days in the empty nursery. Her father, eaten alive by guilt, confessed to Anya that he had cheated on her for nearly a year before she had fallen pregnant. In the Summer of 2090, Anya filled for a divorce and her and Mason moved to Yekaterinburg, Russia, where Mason briefly attended Koldovstoretz in her Third Year. Shortly thereafter, Anya found out that she was 4 months pregnant with another of Seb's children, but decided to keep the news from her ex-husband and daughter. Azarias 'Asher' Grisha Stevens was born on 1 April 2091, with Anya telling Mason and Seb about his birth via letter. Seb filled for a court hearing, and him and Anya now have shared custody over their children.
