Mason could hardly control her excitement as the long, magical tape whizzed all around her. She stuck out her arm, as if reaching for the tape. It held it's length against her arm, then measured her height (not that there was much to measure at this age)
It stopped whizzing around her and rolled itself up, landing softly on an end table nearby.
