Waving to the younger claw, Tia smiled over at her. Surely Norah wouldn't mind a group of three. "You can join us, if you'd like, Kate. I just finished with letting a stick fall out for Norah."
Saved by a fellow Claw! Kate no longer felt like an awkward blob moving around the room with no purpose at all. She smiled at Tia then made her way over to the two girls.
"Thanks," she said to them. She knew Norah, too. Maybe not well, but she thought she remembered partnering up with her in class once.
So it was Norah's turn?
"Okay, cool," she said. She settled down and turned her attention to Norah, waiting to see what would come of the reading.
