Hmm that did make some sense. Adi had behaved at the end of term event last year. And Christmas. But the added mention of a fellow prefect made some more sense. "Ah....yes...a watchdog," Benny teased with a chuckle. Though he honestly didn't know his fellow Ben and Ravenclaw prefect all that much to judge if it would help. And now the tease was on him, the fat jokes continuing all in good fun. "Well I have to keep my energy up." A weak, hungry dragon lion was no good at anything.
Ah, there was the other prefect for this station. And it seemed like Benzi was to be watched by Adi in return. Oh boy. "Better just leave enough for the rest of us," he remarked at the announcing comment, teasing the two of them. The Gryffindor taking some fruit and cheeses to nosh on.
He caught that nod from the first year whom Adi had said hello to. Ava...her name was. Benny didn't know how the other boy managed to keep everyone and their names straight. But then that's why Adi was the friendly badger and he was more the shy reserved lion. "No thanks," he answered politely at her offer. He'd stick with what he'd already grabbed for now.
Perhaps his greeted hadn't be heard. For as Professor Myers responded to Adi beside him as well as Ava and Benzi, he seemed to be disconnecte-- nope there was look in his direction. At least he thought so for no words were spoken. However another professor was speaking up, thankfully being her more usual bubbly self. "Hello Professor Morgan... so far I have," he answered her question. The librarian was not too far behind also greeting everyone in the immediate vicinity which included himself. "Hello Mr. Kitridge. It is a nice day indeed," he remarked in response.
