They were here for trading and exchanging, EVEN exchanging, since this was a tea party for GUYS.
He had even dressed up for the occasion, though he was resting his cloak over his shoulders in case no one else dressed up, and he'd set up his tea party in the back corner of the kitchen. He was hoping that if no one else joined him, at least a house elf would take pity on him and would help him out. Toddles, maybe? Ugh. Muggles were weird and cool and all, and he loved tea, but WHAT IF NO ONE CAAAAAAAAAME?!!
Davie munched on a cookie while he waited. Ellery, carrying a lace parasol, strolled into the kitchen with ease. She swished her long skirt as she walked in order to hide her brown, beat up hiking boots. She was all decked out, Victorian-style, and when she was glad to see that she was not out of place entirely. She wasn't sure if Olly was going to come, but he was invited and of course he told her about it, hence why she was wearing thrift-shop clothing. "Hi, David," she said in greeting, closing her parasol and setting it gingerly next to the seat next to HIM. She sat down primly, tossed down the chocolate frogs, and began the arduous process of taking off her elbow length gloves. She pulled off each finger, then cracked her knuckles and began practicing her poker face.
