She was restless in the worst kind of way; the kind that left you unproductive. As hard as she tried, the files in front of her had long since stopped making sense and with an hour or so left before they had to get to Training she needed to find something else to do. That something else just happened to be a walk over to the bakery. Sure the Ministry had its own dessert bar but a little fresh air couldn't hurt at this point.

Lex ordered herself a Cappuccino to go with her treat then went to occupy her favourite table by the window. Hardly anything exciting ever happened on the inside but the outside was a wealth of possibilities...especially when muggles were on lunch.

They were an interesting sort sometimes, but only sometimes. Nothing interesting about the fact her chocolate frogs had to stay in her bag while she was here. No way she'd be able to dunk and swirl them around in her drink as she'd become accustomed to.
