She was bent pretty low to the floor, so Ava COULD try to climb right up and on without climbing up on the desk first, if she really wanted to. "I'll try to help steady you." With her outstretched hands.

Sophie looked nervous. Well, maybe this wasn't easy for her since she was the one who's gonna stand tall and put an eleven year old student on her shoulder, and not to mention that the Head Girl was just a liiiiiitle bit taller and bigger than her. But they didn't have a choice, huh? Or maybe now she regretted that she took a firstie to be her partner? Perhaps not...

Taking off her shoes? That's better. Ava didn't want to hurt the Head Girl's shoulder. She took off her shoes and socks too (because it's a bit slippery when she's putting on her socks). And then... what's next? "Well, I don't think I have any other better ideas and uh...." Thinking. "I think it's easier if I climb on a desk first, then stand at your shoulder." Yep, that sounded like a good plan. Ava then went to the nearest desk and climbed on it. Now, it's the moment of truth. "You ready, Sophie?" She asked. And once the Head Girl was ready, she put on her left foot first on her shoulder, and then the right one.

Wobble wobble wobble...

Woah, it's harder to stand perfectly balanced at someone's shoulder than it looked.
