At no point did it sound like she was asking a question; the woman was simply TELLING him what was going to happen.

Peverell thought he was going to hear her report on something or demanding some sort of documents that he forgot to sign or forge or burn, but no. She was telling him that she was... leaving? For a little while? Emma? He had to look up at her again to make sure she was Emma.

He turned the parchment over before tucking it into the folder. "Are you going on a trip?" Personal purposes? Did she even have a personal life? He had no idea and he didn't want to know, all he wanted to know was why his assistant and right hand was leaving. If it was a work trip, he'd know about it. He couldn't risk having the person he trusted with most of the work around here disappear. Or worse, betray him.
