Merlin. Was Sophie Brown dressed up as who he thought she was dressed up as? Because any other day, he would've just guessed she was going for the rustic Ravenclaw princess look. But no, he knew the connections here. Only Sophie Brown would be cheeky enough to dress up as Rowena Ravenclaw in a class taught by her daughter.

As for the question though, Zander could've placed a million galleon bet that it would be the exact question Professor Ghost had asked. It was always the same. Start the lesson off with the most vague question in the entire universe and then hope that maybe you could narrow it down using student answers. Yeah, Zander was used to the drill by now. He was seven years practiced in it.
So he chose to remain quiet, only raising his hand to answer the second part of her question. "I think history is hard to remember regardless, 'cause so much happens," and also every one thing depends on the other, meaning if you forgot the smallest detail, you might as well quit right then and there. Ahem. "But making a more er, personal connection makes it easier. 'Cause then they aren't just random people anymore, but kinda like characters in a story... They come to life once you've got that personal feel to it." Did that make sense? Probably not. Zander wasn't well versed in the whole 'think an idea through before starting to talk about it' thing.
"Plus I think dressing up makes it more hands on kinda like Creatures and Herbology. It's less of just trying to remember random facts, and more about trying to understand the random facts?.... and stuff." Sort of.
