Not just in dog form but she'd also bit Dante's arm. Yeah. Better not tell her about all that then. Like Zeke had said: ladies don't bite. "I'll TRY to keep my teeth to myself then." She gave him a small smirk and his arm a squeeze. Just kidding.
Relax, Zeke. She didn't like all that seriousness.
She still wasn't exactly hungry. Her thoughts still circled around rules and how things were supposed to be done, however. Like, for instance she shouldn't have kissed him before their date. That was a no no. There were rules about that. And she'd broken one of them. Only now that she'd already broken it, did it matter really? They could just say today was an exception to the rule.
Her thought process was interrupted again by Zeke giving her the reins regarding their food-plans. Eh. Okay. Focus. Maggie looked up at him, considering their options. "We could just go to the kitchens. And, like, stay there?" Sound good? Her eyes were still on him while she waited for him to agree. Or disagree. Although he better not do the latter. Of course she'd find biting amusing. What had he gotten himself into exactly? Zeke couldn't help but smirk a little... just a little, especially when she did the same, but it grew somewhat when she squeezed his arm. "Try is all I ask," he mused, because he would like to think she wouldn't think of doing such things in human form.
Approaching the castle entrance, Zeke held the door open for Maggie to pass through first, only allowing himself to slip his arm from hers for a moment before following suit. The entrance hall wasn't nearly as chilly as it had been outside, but still didn't offer much in the way of warmth. Food was sounding more appealing by the second. Something warm and savoury, or sweet and sticky.... like pudding.
...
And alas, returning Maggie's gaze, he considered her proposition. Kitchens and stay there? "That works for me..." because really, he didn't need much convincing, "lead the way."
