Once upon a time, in a castle far, far, away called Hogwarts, Pureblood Jason Stone of Gryffindor and Muggleborn Helen Wright of Ravenclaw fell in love. After a few blissful years together, they had gotten married. And soon after, Helen gave birth to their first born – a daughter they named Eliana. She was their pride and joy until, just over 6 years later, they gave birth to their son, Aidan. A few more years later, and they bought their Screech Owl, Screech, who completed their happy family.

Not long before Aidan was born, Ellie began exhibiting behaviors that could be described as nothing other than different. Not to her parents, though. They couldn’t be more pleased because this only showed that their daughter had inherited their gift of magic.

Ellie was just as pleased as her parents were of discovering her new powers. So much so, that she learned to control them at a considerably young age. Or, at least, she could suppress them and prevent unwanted happenings.

Without her daughters’ powers’ unpredictability to keep her home, Helen, believing the muggle way of her own childhood to be advantageous, enrolled Ellie in activities such as public school and ballet lessons. Ellie didn’t mind the social aspects of both of these activities, and quite enjoyed them.

Meanwhile, at home, Ellie was still immersed in a magical environment. She loved the wizarding fairytales and games. Her favorite thing to do was to fly her broomstick, playing Quidditch-made-easy, and inventing other flying games with her father and godfather.

Frequently, Ellie would get to visit her mom’s side of the family, which included her grandfather and grandmother, uncle and aunt, and cousins, exposing herself a little more to the Muggle world. However, she never saw much of her father’s side of the family, save for her grandfather, who'd occasionally play Quidditch with the family, and grandmother, who, to the disgust of Ellie, liked to brew potions nearly all the time.

At age eleven, Ellie received her long awaited letter from Hogwarts. The September she was set to turn twelve, she was on the train to her first year at the castle.
