Yeah, he was not going to stand with these two. So he turned back around and chose a different tree to decorate. He just hoped someone would help him with getting the top decorated...

Ilia felt deeply lonely and upset right now. Her best friend had left for home with his family and.....were they still best friends even? There was a pang in her chest that felt so sharp and caustic she feared it would eat through her chest. She couldn't go home for the holidays because her parents couldn't get along enough to be under the same roof right now and she definitely wasn't picking one over the other.

So....here she was....all alone. Watching people starting to decorate the massive trees as she walked. There were couples happily putting up decorations.......and it made her sick. Between her pre-divorcing parents and her 'best friend's' rejection she was NOT thrilled about seeing that sort of thing. 'Love' seemed to be this massive recipe for emotional pain and she wanted no part in it at all right now. Not even to see it.

She needed to distract herself and participate in these festivity type things though , so that she didn't lock herself in her dorm alone and just cry more. Tree decorating it was.....but.....damn it all there were couples and happy people EVERYWHERE. Sighing internally, she kept searching until.....bingo. Was this tree / general surrounding area free? Almost....there was a Yoongi there.

.....Close enough. The somewhat feminine boy wasn't awful company and he wasn't being all lovey dovey and gross with anyone. His slightly red, I am getting a cold nose was less icky than happy couples right now. "Hello Yoongi. Would you like some help?" Really he was getting her company whether he liked it or not, she was just trying to be polite about it.
