This may have been Sophie Brown's seventh year at Hogwarts, but she had never ONCE stayed at Hogwarts for the holidays. Never, ever. But... that meant the time was now, because she would never get the opportunity ever again. Plus, Zander wanted to stay, so... that made it an easy decision. Well... an easier decision.

Thoughts of a Christmas eve spent with the Fuller-Thompson family lingered in the back of her mind, but... there was also this feeling that they needed a Christmas without her. They needed to work on themselves, as a family, and she didn't want to detract from that this time around. Things had changed, and... she would make it up to them later, surely. But no, she needed this time here at Hogwarts, with Zander and her Hogwarts family. Her mum would forgive her, too. She knew what this meant to her.

Decked in comfy holiday-themed attire, Sophie allowed Zander to tug her along, a big ol' smile never leaving her face. She shared in the same childlike excitement as him, but she used a lighthearted, teasing sort of tone anyway to reply, "Of course we will, silly. We're gonna do ALL the things. We've got alllll night." They were gonna make the most of their last Christmas at Hogwarts, and no one was gonna stop them.

...He was gonna let her sit on his shoulders? And PUT THE STAR ON TOP? "Y'know the way to my heart, Zander Adair." He was the BEST.
