Chances of the topic not to be discussed anytime soon was high, so, Ethan took the initiative to learn some of the harder subjects of Arithmancy on his own. To reciprocate the warm smile he got from the professor, Ethan grinned back at the woman and gave her a polite nod.

Moving along, Ethan propped his left elbow on his desk and placed his chin in his hand as he listened to what the professor had to say.
