Hissing? Oh no that was not good. Cats had claws, and hissing cats were likely to use said claws. Olly did not like the idea of a cat using its claws against him. He backed up rapidly, away from the barrels even though the cat was also moving away from him. His intent was to minimize all risk of injury. Maybe it would be best to just move away from the cat, to make sure that it could not viciously attack him. Yes he decided that would be a good idea. But as he turned to leave, his fox nose caught the scent of a new smell approaching their area.

He turned his fox head to search for the source of the new scent. A few moments later, he caught sight of professor Flamsteed heading down the hallway. What was he doing there? It was pretty far from his office in the Astronomy tower. Had he also been lured by the delicious scents coming from the kitchen? Probably not, considering he just had a regular human nose and not a fox one.

For some reason, it was exciting to see the professor. It was partly because Olly was a fox, which he usually was not when seeing the professor. Also because it was a different part of the cast than where he was usually seen. So it was more exciting than it usually would be. Olly's fox tail wagged twice and he leaped toward the professor. As he landed he fell, but managed to regain his balance quickly. The more he walked around, the more adept at walking he became. His fox nose was sniffing toward the professor, figuring out the new smell. He couldn't usually smell Flamsteed with his human nose so it was a new experience. He was so excited that he didn't even think that maybe the professor would not appreciate a fox leaping toward him. huh.

WHAT? Not allowed? But it was for homework so it was fine, right? Right.
