She was still mad that Teddy was more focused into his study and slightly abandoning her. It's not about them being in different houses. Well, Ava did accept that fact. But not being in the same house didn't mean that they had to be separated and not care about each other, right? "How's Hufflepuff? You got some cool seniors there." Yeah, there's Adi and Henric who were her favorite seniors.
She continued feeding the owl with Bertie botts. "You don't have an owl, do you?" Because the Puff boy just asked her which owl did he have to use. Ava didn't know much about owls since she didn't have one either. "I just fed this one, so maybe it's ready to fly to your destination wherever you want." That's the logic, right? Henry smiled and nodded as Ava confirmed that she was doing well and enjoyed Gryffindor so far. He wondered what kind of different experience he might have had he been sorted into another house. He supposed he'd still make friends but it would just seem weird to be in a house that he wasn't expecting. He frowned sympathetically when she mentioned Teddy. He figured that must be hard for them to be in separate houses. "You still get to see him a lot though?" Or he hoped for her sake. "We should all do something together." What exactly, he wasn't sure, but it would be fun if they all hung out and maybe make the twins feel better seeing each other more often. "Oh, Hufflepuff's pretty cool," he grinned, affirming the sentiment. "Yeah.. our prefect, Adi, is really nice. Well, everyone is... there is a lot of cool people there." Older students and ones his age too. He couldn't see himself fitting in as well in another house so he was really glad he got Hufflepuff.
The first year watched Ava as she continued to feed the owl her candy and he shook his head to her question. "No.. my parents have one, but he's at their house." He didn't really expect them to let him have him for school, but it might be a nice idea for them to buy him one in the near future. He nodded as he looked back at the owl. "Yeah, okay.. you might be right.." It made as much sense to him as anything. Cranky, hungry owls might not be as willing to deliver mail. Tying his rolled up parchment to the owl's leg he patted its head. "Ready to fly? Can you take that to my parents' house?"
