He had no idea.
But he was not sure i he expected Airey to say yes to giving it a try or just not surprised. Yeah lets go with option two. "You can do it"
Dante wanted to watch and see what happens.
Keeping his expectations low, of course Good. Because truth be told his fingers were already eagerly wiggling towards the wrapping to tear off like an eager 5-year-old opening up their first present on Christmas morning.
"I certainly can," he winked. Nothing wrong with his opening abilities. Just had to hope that they didn't have a dud on their hands.
Discarding the wrappings over his shoulder, he quickly pulled off the umbrella-shaped lid...and nothing happened. Not immediately anyway.
Maybe it was a dud?
But then something began to happen, a sort of dark grey smoke oozed from the bottle and swirled up into the air to form a humble little black rain cloud. So...only partly a dud. Because it wasn't actually raining. Although it was continuing to grow in size, just very subtle so to the point it was not noticeable unless you looked away and looked back after an extended period of time.
"Uh...rather anticlimactic, isn't it?" he sighed as he looked back at the box for a magical expiration date or something.
