Daxton's brow furrowed in confusion for a moment as he looked back at Mr. Kitridge and considered his words. 'Wanting help' was a concept that made little sense to him, but the idea that he might want someone to talk to, in the literal or figurative sense... it baffled him entirely.

Eventually, he gave a confused, uncertain nod, and pushed himself up out of the chair. Daxton had never been much good at knowing the rules of social interaction, so he neglected to say or sign or otherwise gesture his goodbye, and simply made his way straight out of the office.

Sleep, yes. That, he would do.
