Heading to a seat, Noelle waved at Owen who wasn't too far away. She grabbed her quill and wrote her name, year, and house on the badge that was provided on the desk. She even managed to make her name look pretty. She almost added a little crown to the N but decided at the last minute not to.

Putting the badge on, she was ready for class.

Gwen sat down next to a girl whose name badge said, "Noelle." She looked like she could be another first year. Hey, I'm Gwen. I'm a Hufflepuff first year. Are you excited for this lesson? I am."

Sometimes, Gwen could actually be very social. But that was only when she overcame her shyness. And that wasn't often. But today, in anticipation for the lesson she was most excited for, she was going to try to make friends and be happy, and try to mask her insecurities as much as possible.
