Oh, it was pronounced e-lec-tron-ics. And telly was the same thing as tel-e-vision. Right, Davie would try his best to study these things up, so he wouldn't be embarrassed the next time the professor mentioned him by name in class. As it were, the first year kept his head down and his pink ears to himself as he carefully wrote a whole lot of example muggle pastimes.
Anyway, bowling! Well he'd never tried sports before but at least this was one he'd probably heard of! "There's a bowling alley in Diagon alley," Davie volunteered. "You play with shrunken heads." How cool that Muggles were inspired to do the same! Bless them!
