½ EagleBrain ♥ Creeperdoodle ♥ Raven Dor ♥ Berry ♥ ½ Team House Elf Feeling Maggie take his hand and squeeze it, startled him. In a good way. Zeke could feel a warmth rising in his cheeks, and that had him hoping that the dim light would be enough to conceal what he was sure was a blush. Why was this happening? If that wasn't enough to get his blood pumping, then Flamsteed calling them out on the small gesture sure was. He would have apologised if he felt he had done anything wrong, but is it was, he didn't. On top of that, he was rather enjoying himself right now, so sorry Flamsteed, you're just going to have to get used to it.
Instead of replying to Flamsteed's words of caution, he averted his gaze to where he was sure the floor would be - because it was so very interesting, y'know?
Though, that moment was short-lived, because when the Professor started going on about the tasks that protected the philosophers stone, he was hooked. WHAT were they going to do? Their very own obstacle course? Flying?! He needn't have been TOO excited, because what it sounded like to him was Flamsteed locking them down here and letting them fumble through a key hunt to break free. Was that even legal? incarceration?
He barely had time to consider this when noises erupted. He could make out the figures moving about, but what had him most curious was the fact that they were croaking. "Frogs? We have to find a key in a frog?" ... did that mean... EXTRACTING a key from a frog? Last he checked they hadn't been instructed to bring their cutting knife from potions, and nor did they have their wands... soooo... froggy pull-apart? He squeezed Maggie's hand again, knowing full well that she wouldn't approve of catching frogs, let alone dismembering one to find a key.
