Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite

The great thing about getting an experiment right was that feeling of accomplishment that started sinking in right after that. The bad thing? Easy, not being sure you could do it a second time. If he couldn't duplicate his actions just now it was likely to have only been a fluke which was even worse because it meant he'd never truly grasped it the first time.

You couldn't show off if you never grasped something 'cause then others might insist you show them TOO and then you'd look like the biggest loser ever.

On second thought, maybe it was a good thing the Professor hadn't seen the way he got the planet the first time in case he was expecting him to do it AGAIN. Right now the boy was still getting accustomed to his wand. The lady at the shop promised it would be loyal to him and all that fancy stuff but right now they were at a crossroad in their relationship and the wand seemed to be doing all the tugging.

He couldn't just NOT go along with the tugging. What if it left without him because he refused to keep up and it found someone NEW????? The hypothetical analogy was suddenly all too real for the Gryffindor who was now trying to shake the thoughts free from his head. Just relax Blaise. Be in control. The wand listens to you. [s]If only.

The Gryffindor took another deep breath and went back to the tactic of the last cast. Absolutely not aiming at planet 1. That was how he did it last time and it worked. This time he put all his concentration into it, as much as his brain could allow and got another marble set. He would aim at the second planet this time. "Tikalas!"

....................

Oh SURE. NOW you go where you're meant to. Blaise watched in utter disbelief and dismay as the marble plummeted into the second planet and made its mark. It was where he wanted technically but obviously someone missed the memo on reverse psychology that had worked so well just now.

Merlin!
