Having run the lint roller over her robes, even though they were CLEAN, Marsha had moved into the Astronomy classroom only to… float? SHE WAS FLYING! HOW COOOOL WAS THAT???? Haha, niiice. Though, that wasn’t really that helpful considering she needed to find a desk. Some weird arm movements and leg kicks later she finally managed to grasp a chair with enough force to be able to get to the table properly and then to sit down. Wheee. Okay. Now that she was sitting down, she applied the pip to right side of her robes and held up her hand in the … what had he called it…? The Valcan thing? Fingers apart she smiled at her Head of House.
”Uh… Live, Long and… Prosper.” It took her a minute to remember the required saying but she got there.

Second Year Lioness Having tapped and created her name plaque, which was so totally cool, she had waved to Lance when he had finished de-linting had come into the room. See! She had even written out his plaque for him too, she felt the need to make it up to him for not being able to sit with him earlier in Charms.

Second Year Gryffindor Listening to a portion of her classmates answers, she looped down some answers on her own parchment. After a few answers, she put her hand up into the air and answered when she was called.
”I think there is a link between rocks and trees... “ Really, she had no idea… Astronomy still wasn’t one of her best subjects but she was hoping to change that this year.
”I think that like the rings on a tree trunk, you can tell things about the rock and where it has been in its life by the rock? Don’t ask her WHAT on the rock gave it away… but she was sure something did.
We are stars. HOW COOL WAS THAT! Hehee. Next time someone argued with her, she would tell them that she was a star and that there was nothing they could do about it. Hehehe. That would soon stop any arguments they were having. Thanks Yoongi! Thanks Pro… Admiral Airey! Hehehe.
Notes. Notes were being taken. And hopefully her spelling was right - though she had a feeling that a lot of these words were being spelt super wrong and that was going to hinder her ability to look them up and correct them later… but she didn’t really have time to worry about that as Admiral Airey got all excited and sat and filled them in; lots of filling in with even bigger words. Great. She looked at Lance and mouthed that they would get through this together. Yes… they would.
She wrote down the words from the board across the top, and then filed the information that her classmates knew under each heading. She didn’t really know much about any of them - and couldn’t distinguish between them so she didn’t say anything. Knowing her luck, she would have given Professor Airey a fact for something completely different.. Hmm… maybe she needed to read more of this year’s Astro text book…. that might be a good idea.
