Davie didn't think he could handle having another mad roommate, because honestly, Daxton was a bit difficult to live with and if weren't for Aldous, he'd be surrounded by crazy kids at this school. For yes, he recognized the boy (who had decided on Mermish, pfft, how useless) as one of his other roommates.

And what, really, what was he so upset about? Flinging himself against the shelves as though Davie were a human torch... WELL NOT YET, Milo, he was not yet playing with fire.

"It's just a rubbish bin," the bespectacled first year protested glumly. "Just full of paper. I'm allowed to carry paper around, aren't I?"
