Milo wasn't sure how to react to this. Yes he noticed the uniform but he was the adult in the room. Right? He wasn't like seventh year or anything? Was there a new Ministry approved military that had taken up a post in Astronomy at Hogwarts this term. He'd heard his mother and her friends talking about the strange things that had happened here when he was growing up but not this. Milo decided to appologize and look around at the other kids who were greeting him with little to no confusion, apart from a few other first years he noticed. "Sorry...Admiral."

"Forgive the irregular classroom arrangement, but as long as you all remember Newton's First Law, we shouldn't have any problems as we proceed through the lecture portion of things. Now...to get things started..." he chuckled to himself as he removed his wand from his enchanted breast pocket and waved it towards his desk to summon Pebbles to his hand and showed her off to the class. "Pebbles, my Number One, is a rock. Several of her companions will be making an appearance later in the lesson and are up for adoption for anyone interested once class has been dismissed. Now, rocks have many very important links to the field of astronomy and the history of our planet. Who would care to venture a guess as to one of these links?"

Right so Milo was right, he was the Professor but he was apparently an Admiral too. That was alright. People could have more than one job, it wasn't any of the Ravenclaw's business. Not that Milo was good at staying out of other people's business but he would try since this was his new Professor/Admiral.

Rocks though, there was a little rock he was holding named Pebbles who was like his pet. Rocks would actually make good pets. They wouldn't run away, or be loud, or take much feeding. Pretty self-caring. But they weren't soft or wanting to cuddle or be petted.

"Rocks Admiral, sir," the term still felt weird coming from his mouth but he would go with it, he did have the pips on his uniform and Milo did now as well, "Rocks made up of all the different minerals in the whole wide, big, galaxy flew together at the beginning of time and made planets like earth and the other solid ones."
