Okay, so there was actually a reason Brian loved Astronomy and that wasn't so much the fact that he loved learning about planetary formation theories and whatnot but because it was pretty much the only lesson he could ramble on about physics and not get weird looks. And Brian Woods was a huge fan of Sir Isaac Newton so when Professor Admiral Flamsteed referenced him in like the first SENTENCE, it made Brian very very happy. Maybe he could sit down with the guy and discuss Flemming? And his rules and when it was left and when it was right? Or just discuss electromagnetism in general because the whole thing was stumping him. BACK TO THE POINT though, Newton's Law of Motion applied in a pretty easy way. If he didn't do anything, he would pretty much stay put unless there was an outside force. Then he would move until an outside force happened. Easy stuff. BEAM.
But uh rocks? Why were rocks important? "They make good pets," he said suddenly, his brain not processing information properly before it all came spilling out. Oh no. Now he had to say something smart so that he wouldn't be squinted at. But he couldn't think of anything smart to say! OH NO. OH DEAR. OOOOH NO. "And uh the terrestrial planets - that's the four closest to the sun - are made of rock. And there's an asteroid belt, also made of rock. And the cores of the outer planets are at least partially rock. And uh Astronomy rocks?" This is what happened when Brian Woods freaks out: total mental shutdown. No intelligent thought going on in THIS noggin. Nope.
Yeah, he'd just hide now. Could he hide under the table? Was that an option?
