"Are you okay??" She asked the older looking boy as she moved into a tiny crawl space. She was not going anywhere near that smell. She was trying her hardest to get away from it the best she could.
"I know you didn't mean to scare me. i dont usually frighten easily but...." But she was in a room that she didn't think she was supposed to be in so she was scared she had been caught. Now they definitely would be caught because the smell was sure to be wafting down the corridor. BAH! The smell. It was reaching her nostrils.
She pulled the robes tighter to her nose and looked until she saw a crawlspace above one of the toilets. Beaming, but her smile hidden due to robes, she started towards that crawlspace. She was getting out of here and away from that horrible, putrid smell!
His brain was FAILING HIM. Brian was pretty sure he had learned something last term that would help in this situation but nothing seemed to be coming to mind and his brain was about to implode because he had been holding his breath for what felt like YEARS. Okay, that made probably zero sense but he could feel his brain stretching against his skull and his lungs were going to burst and HE HAD TO DO SOMETHING NOW. A bubble of clean air would be good. Great, even, if he could find a way to -
Oh. There was a way. And he couldn't quite do it last term because it seemed show-offy but now seemed like a good time to need it and so he pulled out his wand and pointed it at his face.
"Viseo ebullio," he said, with the last bit of air in his lungs and with the bubble formed around his head, he looked for the girl. Where did she go? This charm would probably wear off soon because his spell-casting ability was miserable.
MORE IMPORTANTLY, he'd lost the girl. HE HAD LOST A STUDENT. IN A BATHROOM. AT HOGWARTS. It was like 1942 all over again, students going missing in toilets and there were MONSTERS in this school like you wouldn't imagine. And he lost the girl. OH NO.
"Where'd you gooooooo?" he asked, freaking out a little. Yeah, now he couldn't remember the spell to suck up all the toxic fumes that he had learned in potions last year. Great. It would come eventually, but BRIAN COULDN'T THINK WHEN HE WAS FREAKING OUT, OKAY? ALL HE COULD SEE WERE FUMES AND HE WAS NOT OKAY. SOMEONE SEND HELP.
"Oh my God, I think I just killed a firstie."
It was the only logical conclusion.
Excuse him while he just stood there in shock and horror at himself.
