Zombie Apocalypse Team Leader ★ ★ in a crown of pepperoni and artisan cheese

Despite his artificial happiness, Gabriel Banner had been avoiding the 'memory book' like the plague. Physically. It was easy enough to monitor activity from his place near the food...and to see that most everyone had already taken their place in front of it, their bodies tense. From emotions, Gabe would guess.

See, when writing his...there would be no emotions.

Nope.

NOPE.

.

.

Okay...So...maybe a few. Not even that. There would be three feels, tops.

He wouldn't miss HOGWARTS, the school...but the experiences hadn't been all bad...or life-threatening, if he were being honest. Even the ones that had been terrifying had taught him something. Though, at the moment, Gabe couldn't think what that might've been. He wasn't able to do much in-depth thinking...currently. His potions had him light and 'fluffy'-brained...but it was necessary. Had been for NEWTs...and to function at this event. Best for everyone involved.

With a last look around, having seen Toby just finish his...the Ravenclaw slowly made his way over; knowing that it couldn't be avoided any longer. And when he finally took his place in front of the book, he didn't flip back to previous entries. There was no interest in reading what had come before him...because in truth, that might've hurt his feelings a bit.

Right.

Quote:
I don't have any inspirational words to share, or wisdom, for that matter. I've never described myself as a thought-provoking person...or someone that should be looked up to. I've never been a role model, essentially. No, I am simply a very smart boy who's main focus has always been to learn something new.

...and Hogwarts assisted me in that department; even serving to remind me of those things I had forgotten: academically, physically, and emotionally.

So, that's the gist of this entry. I came. I learned. I liked, dated, and loved. I made friends. I opened up. I cried and laughed.

I experienced life.

I survived.

I suppose if I were going to offer up anything that could be taken into account, it would be that. Hogwarts will force you to experience many things that you normally wouldn't want to. Just let it happen. There's no use in fighting the inevitable.

There. Done.

He...was...done.

Staring at the book for a moment, because it was a stylish book, upon further review, Gabe took a step back and went to go eat something. He felt incredibly hungry...
