Once he was set on the ground he felt like his legs were like jelly and now just wanted to collapse. The shield was still just dangling and he watched in a dazed look as Chris found a seat and sat down burying his face in his arms. Torie was shaking as he looked around them. Students were still coming in from the entrance hall, he'd saw Chris catch hold of his shield and run with them to the hall and he was grateful his best friend was okay. He was now worried about Jay too! Where was Jay? He really hoped his brother was safe! His face showed fear that Jay wasn't safe and the spiders had found him now too!

What had he been thinking, going and exploring the castle? Mum had always said the castle was safe, well it wasn't safe. Nope. There were spiders everywhere! Torie finally sat down next to Chris as he watched the doors to the Great Hall heading for the entrance hall. He was terrified that those spiders would end up in the Great Hall somehow. What the heck was the bottleneck thing the professor had shouted for them to create? Well if it was a spell, he wasn't going to be able to perform it. He stared down at his wand that somehow he'd managed to hold onto, the shield falling from his hand onto the floor.
