Bob was GONE? Norah threw a panicked look over at Professor Cassie. Who would take Bob? Cutie patoootie little Bob. It had to be a really mean kind of person, for sure. Unless it wasn't a person at all, but something....else. At that thought, she began to tap her fingers on the table, keeping in rhythm with her feet tapping on the floor. She tap tap tapped, eyes trained on her sparkly shoelaces, and watched the glitter reflect the funny lighting in the classroom. There. That wasn't nearly as dreadful as thinking about what horrid things could happen to Bob.
When Professor Cassie began to speak, the fourth year looked up at her but caught Bob's empty cage in the corner of her eye. That sent her gaze right back down again as she silently tap tap tapped her feet and fingers. She didn't know what that other -omancy thing was, anyways. The word sounded an awful lot like "casserole" but that was hardly the type of thing you could talk about when poor little Bob and all his cuteness had been snatched. Casseroles weren't even that fun to talk about normally.
