This was how Adi made his way to the Lake to meet Henric and Ilia. Though... was he late?! He had taken time off to reply to another one of his mother's pesky letters, "No, I have not broken up with AJ.'' That was all the parchment that was sent off with Conrad said. Yep, he still used Benny's owl even though they weren't speaking. He had nothing against Conrad.
As he approached the Lake, Adi made out the pacing form of Henric. "Henny!'' Oh, yeah. Now that he said the nickname, he realised how much it sounded like Benny. He had not realised that until the ex- bestie had pointed it out to him in Glendy's office.
The sixth year halted next to his friend. "Am I late? Did Ilia slap you and leave already?" Ehhh, probably not the time for those jokes. He clapped the younger boy on the shoulder. "Just kidding. Ilia wouldn't do that. I did check the common room again though. No luck.'' Adi was super worried about Princess now because earlier he had just thought someone had removed her from her tank to play with her but none of the Hufflepuffs he and Henric asked had done that.
Henric turned around when he heard Adi's familiar voice calling him by his nickname. Urgh.. the nickname again, when would he ever stop calling him that?! Henric went over to Adi as well and stopped right in front of him. He fell silent, oh noo...what if she really slapped him and ran off crying.Great...Adii...just great...thanks for jinxing it. Frowning, he shook his head.
"No, you're right on time Adi, and nooo she hadn't arrive yet but soon," he said, his voice strained. Sorry Adi...Henric was a little on edge here. However, he momentarily forgotten how nervy he was when Adi started to reassure him llia wouldn't ever do that to him. Henric sadly grabbed him by the shoulders too
,"It's alright...we really tried our best,I'm just glad you're here mate, thanks again Adi...I owe you one," he said before giving him an affirmative nod.
"llia will come and I will try my best to tell her, she needs to learn the truth too about Princess...it was my fault that I've lost her, I shouldn't have left Princess alone...this is just terrible terrible news...if anything happens...to me...you know what to do right...."Henric muttered.
