Sometimes, life was beautiful, and for Sophie Brown, there was nothing more beautiful than being surrounded by her best friends and getting points for sheer dumb luck. Life was a dream, and she beamed at Tobes and his nudge with the utmost joy and pride.

New material was being taught, and Sophie squinted at the karmic debts in chapter three of her textbook. So they were... bad things? And if one got those numbers in the equation, the little description beside the number was what one had to do to undo the bad karma? That was an interesting concept, if she was understanding it correctly, and when they were set to reduce a new set of numbers, Sophie got straight to work.

Not bothering with re-checking her work once again, Soph set her writing utensil down and leaned back in her chair, stretching her arms up and behind her as Adi answered the professor's question for them, then gave a few pats on the shoulder nearest to her of both of her boys. And then she settled back into her chair and drummed her fingers lightly on her desk, looking entirely bored with everything. Would they do something fun soon?
