Janelle was relieved. No muggle mathe today. Yay! That was not exactly one of her favorite subjects when she was in muggle school. As a matter of fact, she was quite happy to escape it at Hogwarts. Arithmancy involved enough math for her, thank you.

And then......the reduction method. So that was what they would be starting with today. Janelle looked at the ginormous number that Professor Tanner wanted them to reduce. Yep. Enough math for her. There was no escaping it though and the second year set to work.



With the first task completed, Janelle wondered where the professors were heading with this lesson. How was all of this going to tie into Muggle Studies? If it wasn't math, what was it? She guessed that she would just have to be patient and see when the time came. Unfortunately, patience was not her strong suit.
