Amethyst knew that odds were she wasn’t helping the situation, and as it was, she’d continued working on getting the orientation packets handed out to the new employees, or Simon, Alexa and the other MLE workers at the table with her to hand out to the new employees as they got their wands weighed if that was what they’d rather. She still felt rather superfluous at the table, as a matter of fact, but no other Level One employees had shown up to leave a presence here. It was supposed to be both levels working the table after all, just as it wasn’t her fault that Gregory had stopped to talk to her. Or, perhaps it was, but she wasn’t going to admit to it. She shouldn’t have to, just as she shouldn’t have to remind the few people who had decided to get into actual conversations instead of keeping things moving smoothly.
