Huh, what? Toby looked up when he heard Glendower's voice from very closeby, and saw that she was complimenting his work. As soon as he realised that that was the case, Toby smiled at her. "Thank you, Professor." If he noticed any other sort of reaction, he didn't mention it.

Oh, but they were done? No way. Toby was sure they'd not been going for THAT long. He checked his watch, the one he'd got for his birthday from Ella when he came of age, and... yep. Class was PAST over. Wow, that went fast.

Toby was so focused on how bizarrely quickly time had flown by that he almost missed Professor Glendower telling them exactly what they'd be doing with the books. At first he faltered, slightly wary, but she went on to tell them that it was up to them what they put down. Toby chewed at his lip for a moment, thinking, but in the end nodded decisively to himself and stowed his book away in his bag. He'd find a way to keep the entire thing positive.

After returning all the borrowed supplies and packing away his own, Toby grabbed his wand again, automatically started twirling it, and smiled at Professor Glendower. "See ya later, Professor. Thanks for the lesson, it was fun." His mood had been boosted, probably because he'd had the chance to draw cows. After saluting Glendower with his free hand, Toby left the classroom, blissfully oblivious to, uh... any angst in the room.
