During his younger years, Mordred did not expect to work for the Ministry. He thought of it as boring and bland, and a total waste of time. Upon finishing his university education in Russia, he was able to experience to work for their local government, and realized that it wasn’t so bad. Besides, all the available reserves in the world are too far from home, especially now that he’s about to start his own family.

Speaking of family, he looked over his shoulder to see where his wife, Sophie, had gone off to. She also got accepted in the Ministry, and he was sure that she’s very excited to be ~~working with him~~here. Assuming that she’s too busy greeting people, Mordred went ahead to have his wand checked, and to receive his orientation kit. As he approached the brass device, he was able to sight familiar faces. They were, after all, former Hogwartians. He wasn’t in the mood to interact at the moment, so he’d just let them notice him as he goes through the checkpoint.

Well, that is if they can even figure out who he is. Mordred calmly stood behind the woman in front of him and waited for his turn.
